You should know who runs a publication that compares products, and whether its owner has a stake in the outcome. This page covers both.
Who operates HumanRank
HumanRank is operated by Warrior Gyna Inc.
Warrior Gyna Inc also has commercial interests in AI writing products. Some of those products compete with tools covered in our guides, including tools in our AI writing tools guide. That is a conflict of interest for a comparison publication, and we do not describe HumanRank as independent of the AI writing market.
Rules we follow because of that conflict
- No owned products on launch pages. None of the pages published at launch mentions, recommends or links to a product our operator owns.
- Labels if that changes. If a future page mentions or links to a product our operator owns, the page will say so next to the mention, not only on this page.
- Same fields for every tool. Every tool in a guide gets the same fields: best for, documented strength and main limitation. Each guide links its sources, so you can check that we have described competitors fairly.
- No scores without a published test. No product gets a score until a test with a published method exists. Our ranking method lists what that test must include.
Links and money
At launch:
- No affiliate commissions. Links in our guides point to vendor documentation, help centers and independent research. None of them pays HumanRank when you click or buy.
- No paid placements. No company has paid to appear in a guide, to be ranked higher or to have its description changed.
- No sponsored content. If we ever publish sponsored material, it will be labelled as sponsored on the page itself.
If any of this changes, for example if we add affiliate links or links to products our operator owns, we will update this page first and label the affected links where they appear.
Why we publish this page
Comparison sites earn trust by being clear about who benefits from their recommendations. Readers should be able to weigh our guides knowing that our operator works in the same market as some of the products we describe. If you are choosing between tools for an important purchase, read the vendor documentation we link and run the short test at the end of each guide before you decide.
What vendors can and cannot do
Vendors can send corrections backed by their own documentation, and we will check and apply them. Vendors cannot pay for coverage, approve copy before publication, or buy a change to a recommendation. Product submissions are welcome through our contact page, but a submission does not guarantee coverage.
How to check our work
Each guide links the sources behind its facts and shows the date those sources were checked. If you think a commercial interest has shaped something we published, tell us through the contact page and name the page. We will review it and correct the page if we got it wrong.
